Congratulations to Lori Gillies who retires from Your Move this week, 30 days to the day since she started her career with us.
Loris, who is a Sales Consultant, is based at the Your Move branch in Carlisle where she is not only a much admired and respected colleague but also a firm favourite with her existing customers and the many homeowners she has helped over the years.
Lori began her career as a weekend sales consultant back in 1990 but, appreciating her popularity and flair for the job, Your Move jumped at the opportunity to increase her hours as her children went to school and then increased them further as the business continued to flourish. Thanks, in part, to Lori.
Liz Bolger, Area Director for Your Move in Cumbria and the North East commented:
“Lori has been an absolute joy to work with over the years. Her friendly, patient, emphatic and yet highly professional approach has led to an enormous following of customers in and around Carlisle and also the admiration of everyone she comes into contact with at Your Move.
She’s simply an outstanding ambassador to our business, embracing everything that Your Move stands for in terms of providing the very best service possible to our customers and combining this with an exemplary attendance and performance record. It’s also a great example of the importance that Your Move places on its staff and their career development which has led to many, like Lori, to achieve long service milestones.
I know the team will feel a void in the branch without her and I will personally miss Lori as we’ve had a tremendous relationship over the years. I’m sure, however, we’ll stay in touch and all I can wish the ‘wonderful Lori’ is a very happy and healthy retirement – she truly deserves it.”
Oliver Blake, Managing Director for Your Move added:
“I’d like to extend my congratulations to Lori on her retirement and offer my personal thanks for her fantastic contribution to the local team and to Your Move as a whole over the many years she has been with us.
I know that celebrations are already underway within Your Move in her honour, which I’m delighted about, and hope these will mark the start of very many happy times ahead for our great colleague and for her family.”
