For our next instalment of our #BranchSpotlight series, we’re focussing on the lovely town of Swinton located in Greater Manchester. There are many reasons why Swinton is a great place to live and work, and it’s not as small as one might think. Swinton is actually closely surrounded by a few different areas that boast great amenities and opportunities, and we’ve noted the following:
SALFORD
This area has wealth of reputable schools, parks, leisure facilities and excellent transport links so is fantastic for a growing family. The transport links are also great as access to the M60 Ring Road is a short distance away and also within close proximity to the new guided bus route leading into Manchester City Centre.
SOUTH SWINTON
South Swinton is located close to the beautiful villages of Monton and Worsley which offer an abundance of amenities. The picturesque Bridgewater Canal flows nearby where you can enjoy nature walks or boat rides. Like Salford, the area has an array of reputable schools and leisure facilities as well as excellent transport links including the new direct bus route into Manchester. The demand for living in this area has never been so strong!
MONTON
Monton Village is a very desirable location to live where you will find many vibrant bars, restaurants and shops. Monton has easy access to Manchester City Centre, Media City and motorway networks. It’s also a great place for an avid golfer as there are many courses nearby.
Holly Taylor, Sales Consultant at Your Move Swinton says that her ‘favourite thing about Swinton is Albert’s restaurant and bar which delivers great service and gorgeous food.’ Why not check out the website to book a table or find out about Albert’s Friday Sleepover where you can stay over in a near-by hotel!
When asked why someone should move to Swinton, Holly remarked ‘Swinton is close to Manchester where the city life is always busy and exciting. Plus, it’s not far from the Trafford Centre where you can shop to your heart’s content and enjoy all sorts of activities. Not only that but Swinton also offers great walks and pubs around Monton and Worsley.’

As well as helping buyers and tenants find their ideal home in Manchester, Your Move Swinton can also help you if you’re looking to sell or let in any of these areas.
