Sue Petty awarded at the Bexley Business Excellence Awards 2016

It’s congratulations to Your Move franchisee, Sue Petty, from Your Move Petty Freeman in Sidcup who last night beat off strong competition to win the Business Commitment to the Community Award at the Bexley Business Excellence Awards 2016. 

Sue was acknowledged for her significant efforts in helping others in the local community – which has included the organisation of events to raise much needed funds for local organisations. Judges stated that they had been literally  ‘bowled over’ by her significant commitment to the community which was to be further applauded because it was on offered on a voluntary basis.  

The award was presented to Sue at a glittering Gala Dinner at the Marriott Bexleyheath Hotel which was attended by an array of local businesses as well as local dignitaries – including the mayor. 

Sue commented” I am absolutely delighted to have won the award and, although I felt quite emotional when my name was announced, I feel proud to be acknowledged in this way and hope that I will be able to continue to support this great community with many more fundraising events in the future.”
