A Your Move team from Scotland consisting of Chris McCutcheon, Zac Blake, Debbie Buonaccorsi and George McKillen along with Field Sales Manager for Land and New Homes, Allison Sutherland, took part in an event in memory of our much admired colleague, Scott Dunbar, who himself pledged to take part this year.
The event, which is a team-orientated 10-12 mile obstacle course, is designed to test physical strength and mental grit. It states on its website that “it puts camaraderie over finisher rankings and is not a timed race but a team challenge that allows participants to experience exhilarating obstacles that they won’t find anywhere else.”
The team – which also consisted of Scott’s wife and children – managed to complete the course despite, as the name suggests, getting very muddy along the way and raised more than £3,000 for Cash for Kids and the British Heart Foundation.
Allison commented:
“A massive thank you to everyone who sponsor ‘Team Dunbar’ to take part in Tough Mudder UK. It was tough and muddy but we all survived to tell the tale and raised several thousand pounds as a result.”
