Teams across Your Move often support local community initiatives as demonstrated by franchisee, Scott Anscomb, and his team in York who have recently pledged their support to former York City footballer and England youth international, Christian Fox, and his All Star Football Academy which helps children to improve their football skills.
Scott is sponsoring the production of brochures that will help to educate the students – who are aged between three and 15 – about playing football including how to analyse their game with the support and tuition of six qualified coaches.
Christian Fox explained: “With Your Move’s help, we’ve been able to produce player booklets which give each youngster a seasonal plan of what they will be learning every week. It concentrates on the five key areas we concentrate on as an Academy including who we are, how we coach, how we play and how we support and, by looking at the social and psychological aspects of football too, we are coaching the children to become well-rounded human beings.”
Scott added “We’re really pleased to be offering out support to this local Academy and hope, as a result of it, even more players will go on to become members of the more professional Football Academies. We think, as a local agent, that it is important to support the community in which we live and work and, having supported similar initiatives in the past, see this latest sponsorship as just another example of this.”
